One of the many things I love about my wife is her ability to make our home a wonderful place to be. A lot of people are good decorators (and she is too) but the difference is that she has this great way of making a room cozy. They look nice, but you really want to spend time in her spaces.
So, as a photographer I enjoy documenting the way she transforms our rooms each season. This winter she focused on balancing a little color with lots of white and gold tones. Because we love keeping our decorations up all winter, our decorations tend more towards “winter” than Christmas. The only real difference between December and February is the density of metal deer.
All photos processed with VSCO Film and shot with a Nikon 50mm f1.8 (and a couple with the trusty 18-55mm too).
